Concerns or Complaints
We at Black Pine Counseling Center place a high value on delivering care with integrity. This means holding a high bar for the quality of our relationships with our clients, as well as the ethical and legal standards we follow. Moreover, we hold a high bar for our professions as a whole, and believe in all clients’ right to be heard if something goes wrong or anyone in our professions does not meet the ethical and legal standards of our professions.
If you have a complaint about any interaction you have had here at Black Pine Counseling Center, we would like to hear about it. If you desire, you can speak directly with your therapist to let them know about your concerns. We would genuinely like to know. We also encourage you to call us at (757) 595-3455, and ask to speak with either our office manager, Miigaa Nichols, or our clinical director, Mark Nichols and we will set up an appointment for us to hear from you and learn about your concerns. You can also email our office manager directly at Admin@blackpinecounseling.com.
If you believe that there has been a legal or ethical violation by a therapist here or elsewhere, one of our therapists, or any other therapist, can provide information and help you through the process of taking appropriate action.
